We are back from the BEST family vacation ever!! Nothing beats staying on the beach for 16 days...riding bikes, surfing, boogie boarding, and hanging out. We rode our beach cruisers for miles and miles! Cassidy got a new bike as soon as we got to California, and Claire ended up with a new bike by the time our trip was over! Someone accidentally ran her bike over and was nice enough to replace it for her. We did trips to Orange County Swap meet. DisneyLand. Eating at the Crab Cooker is always a favorite. We went shopping at Jacks Surf Shop, rode bikes across the ferry, went to Balboa Island, One day the kids and I rode our bikes all the way to Huntington... Lots of ice cream! It was so relaxing and so nice to spend so much time as a family. I can't wait to go back!!!! We were there over the 4th of July. It is my favorite Holiday and the first time in YEARS that we didn't spend it in Utah. I was a little sad thinking about missing out on that great tradition. The annual Gledhill volleyball game and Levi's illegal firework show and the bbq with all the great food but I especially missed the family!! So instead of all that, we watched Levi compete in the horse shoe tournament, Cassidy go in the dunking tank over and over and over, great bbq food and an unbelievable firework show over the water!! WOW it was amazing sitting with my kids on the beach watching the fireworks I loved it! It was a lot of work packing up and coming home. Claire cried as we drove away.. I think we all felt like crying! But we are home now and I did miss my bed. The girls and I did laundry ALL day today. It's still not done, but we're getting there. At the end of it all, TONS of great memories were made!
