Aly just finished 8th grade.. I can't believe she will go to high school next year!! Our big end of the year excitment was the, ever awaited, 8th grade dance..She went dress shopping with her dad months before the big dance and hung her dress in her room where she could look at it every day! The day of the dance Julia (bff) and Aly came to the salon to get there hair and makeup done. Then home to get dressed and pictures! They went to the dance with 2 other girlfriends (NO BOYS ALLOWED) then dinner at BJ's and back to Julia's for a sleepover. The next day they had a big party at the school with food, games, and slideshow... I don't remember ever doing anything like this!! She looked BEAUTIFUL!! Love you AL

Those pictures are darling. I can't believe she's so grown up! We'll be here for the 4th, we can't be gone so I'd love to see you. Where are you guys staying? You know we live in Corona del Mar, which is part of Newport Beach? Anyways, will be fun to see you.
